Our Adoption Timeline

Sept. 15, 2009 - Information meeting with Lifeline. We made our decision....we are going to adopt!!!!

April 1, 2013 - Turned in our application to Lifeline.

April - November 2013 - Working on Homestudy and training.

July 4, 2013 - Saw a video on Facebook posted by my now FB friend Stephanie. It is MY girl!!!

Spent July in communication with Zoe's agency trying to get her file transferred to Lifeline.

July 29, 2013 Was told that her agency WOULD transfer her file to LL.

Aug. 6, 2013 - got Zoe's file with LOI paperwork.

Aug. 21, 2013 - turned LOI paperwork in to LL - hand delivered it.

Aug. 26, 2013 - LOI officially submitted.

Sept. 9, 2013 - PA!!!!

Oct. 8, 2013 - send SW questions for our first update.

Oct. 17, 2013 - received our first UPDATE!!! It included three pictures and a precious 5 second video. Zoe was waving and jabbering and smiling. Can't wait to hold her in my arms.

Nov. 11, 2013 - our homestudy is FINALLY finalized and sent to immigration.

Nov. 23, 2013 - got our letter back from Immigration with fingerprint appointment.

Dec. 19, 2013 - Joshua played Luke Skywalker in the Christmas Program at his school, Caleb class party and my class party, then...biometric FINGERPRINTS!!! Wow, what a day!

Jan. 13, 2014 - i800a approval

Jan. 14, 2014 - dossier to the county...some time between here and

here - Jan. 24, 2014 - our dossier also went to the state.

Jan. 24, 2014 - dossier to the U.S. consulate

Feb. 3, 2014 - DTC Woohoo!!!!!!!!

Feb. 14, 2014 - LID...bigger WOOHOO!!! didn't get the call until Feb. 17, 2014.

Feb. 25, 2014 - OOT (out of translation)

March 28, 2014 - Match Reviewed
